Meet the coach
My name is Zack hess
For nearly 20 years, I have dedicated my career to coaching and education, helping athletes develop their skills and character both on and off the field. As a former high school head coach for eight seasons, I have led my teams to a winning percentage of nearly 70%, consistently building competitive and disciplined programs.
My passion lies in defensive football, and I’ve had the privilege of serving as a defensive coordinator for a state championship runner-up and over the years, I’ve built dominant defensive units, including those that have allowed less than seven points per game for multiple seasons. I’ve coached every defensive position—Defensive Line, Linebackers, and Defensive Backs—and have helped develop at least one All-State defensive player each season.
Beyond football, I believe the game is a powerful tool for teaching character, discipline, and leadership. I take a faith-based approach to coaching, ensuring my athletes grow not just as players, but as men of integrity. For me, it’s about more than just football—it’s about preparing young men for success in life.
